Author Spotlight Week with Isabella Starling | Day 4 | The 20 Questions Book Tag

2020. november 12., csütörtök

Hey Lovelies!

We had Isabella make a Book Tag for the 4th day. This is The 20 Questions Book Tag. If you would like to know what does Isabella feel about cliffhangers or what does her favourite book, you have to read this post! ;)

1. How many books are too many in a series?

I get discouraged after 5+ books! But if I’m loving the series, I NEVER want it to end!

2. How do you feel about cliffhangers?

Honestly, I love them. They make me super invested in the story and I can’t wait until the next book. Anticipation is everything.

3. Hardcopy or paperback?

I’m really picky – I like most of my stuff in hardback except for romance. I like floppy paperbacks for that!

4. Favorite book?

Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier. Hale and Dirty Ugly Toy by K Webster. Anything Kitty Thomas, Jade West, Gillian Flynn. Black Lies by Alessandra Torre. Mud Vein by Tarryn Fisher.

5. Least favorite book?

I can’t name one, but I don’t like nonfiction – boresville!! I want a hot, possessive, jealous alpha instead!

6. Love triangles, yes or no?

7. The Most Recent Book You Just Couldn’t Finish.

I’m still reading the last Kitty Thomas 1 page at a time because I don’t want it to end! LOL does that count?

8. A book you are currently reading?

I’m reading We Are Okay by Nina LaCour! Love it, absolutely beautiful book.

9. Last book you recommended to someone?

I’m forever recommending Hale by K Webster. It’s soooo good.

10. Oldest book you’ve read?

Probably Jane Austen! I love her work.

11. Newest book you’ve read?

I jump on Sophie Kinsella books the day they’re released!

12. Favorite author?

If I have to pick just one it would be a tie between K Webster and Kitty Thomas.

13. Buying books or borrowing books?

14. A book you dislike that everyone seems to like?

I don’t like self-help books. Have yet to read one I enjoyed!

15. Bookmarks or dogears?

DON’T DOGEAR. It’s a crime against books, against humanity! I always use pretty bookmarks.

16. A book you can always reread?

Anything by Sophie Kinsella.

17. Can you read while hearing music?

Yes, but it has to be instrumental (no lyrics).

18. One POV or multiple POVs?

For romance I love 2 POVs, hero + heroine. For everything else… I prefer 1 or 4+ lol!

19. Do you read a book in one sitting or over multiple days?

I’m a slowwww reader. So multiple days or even weeks, because I like to savor my books.

20. One book you read because of the cover.

SO MANY! I love buying YA fantasy because of the cover! Dirty Ugly Toy was a cover buy for me and it ended up being one of my favorite books!
